What's this about?
These are some tools of my daily use, stuff that makes using a PC or browsing online pages less of a pain. Some of them
might not be entirely legal, but piracy wouldn't be needed if companies weren't destroying the internet.
I also accept suggestions.
With that said, these are some nice apps, in no particular order:
Ublock Origin - Just in case you're one of the select few that still hasn't installed it,
Ublock is a Firefox extension that's essential to browing literally any website. Also if you're still on Chrome, change to Firefox.
Freetube - A PC 3rd party tool to browse Youtube on a local instance, meaning
no algorithm or ads, only your own choices. You can fine tune it a little more, with SponsorBlock, enabling/disabling features, etc.
NewPipe - The android option to do the same. Simply watch videos as you see
fit, without having to deal with ridiculous recommendations or whatever bullshit feature Google is making up today.
KillSticky - You know how much it sucks to open a webpage and be
covered in random requests, cookies, ads, ratings, animations, chatrooms, etc.?
With KillSticky you can erase all the fluff from modern web and just read the bits that matter.
Bypass Paywall Clean - An extension for Chrome and Firefox that does exactly as it says on the tin:
Bypasses the annoying paywalls that news websites insist on pushing.
ImgChest - Ever since Imgur banned NSFW content, I changed to ImgChest for my uploading needs.
Its the place where I've hosted all images used in this website so far, and has clean support for Sharex.
Alternatively, ImgPile is also available, though I don't use it as often.
And some websites as well(mostly piracy related):
!! Make sure you have UBlock installed !!
GG Deals - A list of sales for all current consoles and PCs, as well as freebies.
Make sure to turn off the "Keyshop" option at the top, since those are scammers.
Can You Run It? - Classic website to check if your PC specs are enough to run specific games. There might be a more
popular version, but this always served me well (even though I often ignore the results and downscale the game anyway).
FitGirl Repacks - The biggest face on modern gaming piracy. A trusted source for small downloads as well as
secure and fast installation processes.
Game Bounty - A gaming piracy website where one can place a 'bounty' for the uploaders
to review and see if its possible to add to the collection. Has ample titles to peruse.
Nyaa - Still the best anime torrenting website available. There's not much to say, aside from
be polite and seed after you've downloaded something.
Sukebei Nyaa (+18) - The Cooler Nyaa, with doujins, JAVs, erotic manga and AVs.
1337x - One of the last great torrent websites available. Movies, TV shows, music, you name it and they probably have it.
Alternatives: Torrent Downloads and LimeTorrents
Mangadex - The go-to when you want to read some manga, wide choice of languages and translations.
Alternative: Batoto
